We are hiring a Resiliency Hub Network Organizer!

ICPJ received Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) funds to support our resiliency and network building activities! The Resiliency Hub Network Organizer will manage our IRA grant responsibilities including outreach and community engagement; assessment, evaluation, and documentation; and communications. They will also support ICPJ’s volunteer experience and our general Environmental Justice policy and advocacy goals. We understand Environmental Justice to include intersections with housing, transportation, labor, the legal system and abolition, economic, and social justice issues.

Essential Functions 

  1. Support program partners implementing parts of our programming pilots/experiential learning labs/neighborhood interventions.
  2. Lead assessment and evaluation processes (may include supporting student researchers).
  3. Share communications about the process, successes, and learnings of our projects and complete grant reports.
  4. Support volunteers in our Circles/organizing groups.
  5. Support organizational tracking and outreach efforts.
  6. Support EJ related organizing with policy and advocacy actions.

Accessibility: Applicants must live in Michigan. The position requires multiple hours on the computer utilizing  multiple digital platforms. ICPJ is currently operating in a hybrid in-person and remote style. The position will require some evenings and weekends, with irregular hours, and some travel within the county. This position does not require heavy lifting.
