Circles

At ICPJ, a “circle” is a working group centered around a specific cause or purpose.

These circles are democratic, autonomous groups that bring together communities, congregations, mutual aid groups, network organizations, and individual activists to make radical systemic change with love.

ICPJ circles include:

  • Compliance Circle (President, Treasurer, Secretary)
  • Mission Circle (tend to mission alignment and conflict Resilience)
  • General Circle (delegate from a programming or network support circle – shared decision-making)
  • VOTE Caucus Circle (doing democracy in public and fighting voter suppression)
  • Care and Freedom Circle (practicing abolition and harm reduction)
  • Environmental Justice Circle (being in right relationship with the Earth and all beings)
  • Consumption Waste and the Climate Crisis
  • Interfaith Council Circle (organizing within and across faith communities)
  • Capacity Building & Support Circle (training and skill-building spaces)
  • Healing and Creative Practices Circle (tending to those who DO)
  • Latin America Task Force
