“What is Congregational Sanctuary?” Chelsea Area Presentation

The Education/Outreach team of Washtenaw Congregational Sanctuary (WCS) a new collaboration of Interfaith Council for Peace & Justice (ICPJ) and Washtenaw Interfaith Coalition for Immigrant Rights (WICIR) will offer a 90 minute workshop on Sunday, June 11 at 2:30 pm at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Chelsea (20500 W Old US Highway 12). This is a free, public meeting open to all individuals, community groups or congregations looking to gain a better understanding of what providing support for sanctuary means in Washtenaw County. You do not need to be a member of a faith community to be involved or to learn more.
